Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice

Anime Roster respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us.

What Anime Roster Does

Anime Roster is an anime discovery and tracking platform. We provide:

  • Anime information, descriptions, and metadata
  • User watchlist and tracking features
  • Links to external streaming platforms
  • User-generated reviews and ratings

Anime Roster does not host, upload, or store any anime video content. All streaming links direct users to third-party platforms that host the content. We aggregate publicly available information about anime titles for informational and discovery purposes.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content available on or through Anime Roster infringes your copyright, please send a written notification containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list.
  2. Identification of the infringing material: A description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on our Service, with enough detail that we may find it (e.g., URL links).
  3. Your contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Please submit your DMCA notice through our Contact Page with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request" and include all the information listed above.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. The counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the party who submitted the takedown notice

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

Third-Party Content

If your copyright complaint is about content hosted on a third-party streaming service that we link to, you should direct your DMCA notice to that streaming platform directly. Anime Roster does not have control over content hosted on third-party websites.
